How I created my birthday beauty looks

LEO SZN AND BDE! I'm a big birthday fan, so I tend to celebrate my birthday for at least a week. This year was no different, and I planned a couple of boozy brunches in DC and NY with friends for the two weekends surrounding my (unfortunately timed) Tuesday birthday.

My actual birthday was filled with relaxation and love, since I spent the day off of work with Evan, who booked a massage for me as part of my gift. Thank you to everyone who showed me love on my birthday, because it was a special one.

Anyway, I wanted to share how I created these beauty/style looks. Check out the products/brands I used below to create these two birthday brunch looks.

xx

The Outfit Details

The first outfit is brought to you by Tobi. I got a 50 percent off code for the off-the-shoulder white eyelet dress. The second outfit is a mix of a Forever 21 button-down top, a Lively lacy bralette and the standout piece: these Topshop statement pants. I repeated shoes (which are an old pair of Mix No. 6 strappy heels) and necklaces, which are a mix of gifted pieces, a nameplate necklace and this BP necklace from Nordstrom.

Fenty Beauty Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette

I got this palette at work, and it's honestly my new go-to for basic eyeshadow looks. I did a medium-strength brown smoky eye using a mix of Cumin Get It and Henna Sea in the crease/outer corner. For the lid, I mixed Mirage, Desert Baked and Casablanca as a topper.

Fenty Beauty Flyliner liquid eyeliner

This eyeliner right here is the TRUTH. I did my usual winged liner for both looks.

Ardell Demi Wispies

I don't usually don false lashes for my everyday looks, but I like to throw on a pair when I'm wearing a full face of makeup.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream

I'm not big on foundation for my skin, so this Bare Minerals tinted moisturizer gives me a sheer amount of coverage a little SPF. I use it in the shade Terra 8.5, and I squeeze it directly onto my face, spread out the product with a flat face brush from this Sephora kit, and then blend it out a little with my BeautyBlender.

Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush

This blush is an oldie but a goodie. I use it in the shade Mellow Wine, and I either use a blush brush to tap it onto the apples of my cheeks or I grab the butt of my BeautyBlender and push it into my skin.

ColourPop everything

Basically everything on the rest of my face was ColourPop. I use the Precision Brow Pencil in Bangin' Brunette and the Brow Boss Gel in clear to get more natural-looking brows. I use the (now discontinued Karrueche collab) Super Shock Cheek bronzer in Bronze Me and the Pressed Powder Highlighter in Bae Area. I also used the BFF 2 and 3 Lippie Pencils with a variety of lip glosses throughout the day.

Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Frizz Serum

I'm in the process of going natural, and I can only do so much when my hair is straightened in the summer. I use a couple of pumps of this serum on my hair before leaving the house and trekking out into the heat and humidity, and it helps to the extent that it can.
