Beauty Bag: First-time Glossier Purchases + Review

Hey everyone! I popped my Glossier cherry a couple months ago, and I wanted to share my thoughts on the products I’ve been using.

Glossier is basically the “no-makeup makeup” look in a brand. Created by Into the Gloss blog maven Emily Weiss, the cult beauty brand has become a staple with its low-maintenance beauty products.

Although I spent months coveting the beauty brand’s products, it wasn’t until the holiday season that I made my first purchase.

My mom gave me the Super Bounce serum for Christmas, and I gifted myself the Mask Duo, comprised of the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack and the Moisturizing Moon Mask.

Super Bounce is one of three serums Glossier sells, and the hyaluronic acid and Vitamin B5 are supposed to be “good for skin depleted from hangovers, long layovers, blasting a/c, or high high heat.”

The serum has honestly become an integral part of my daily skincare regimen (just after I spray my face with my Mario Badescu spray and just before I use my Neutrogena moisturizer). It goes on smoothly and makes my skin feel baby soft under my moisturizer.

The two masks complement each other nicely, but I’m partial to the Moisturizing Moon Mask. It has a jelly-like texture, and it saves my skin after long bus rides or #wildweekends (of which there are few, but still).
